Purple and Green

Always in bloom

Her dreams took her

To faraway places

She hadn’t been before

A path that beckoned

Colors to entice her through

Darkest of days

Purple and green

And greys in between

Her dream as vivid as the

Lilac in late spring

I think I dream in color. I must! There are a lot of rainbow sprinkles there.
And I love this beautiful nod to late spring, and oh how I would have wanted to escape this past late spring. It was an odd one.

Lovely poem, Lisa. And though I dream of this landscape often, walking it is both dreamlike and more real than much of life.

Lovely dreams Lisa… so vivid! I could walk with you through that purple field, hand in hand we would go and climb that hill together. 🙂
