Such a small word for so large a meaning. To be brave even when you fear it. Whatever ‘it’ might be. I wrote in my art journal with a white pen on black painted paper (setting the mood), exactly what I needed to hear. Funny how that works. Well, the purpose of journaling truly is to help us muddle through emotions, doubts and life stuff. As I re-read this passage, I felt it might be helpful to my readers.
Even if it is only one person who needs this passage, then that is absolutely perfect. You are perfect the way you are. Remember that, too.
“When the darkness falls hard on you and it feels like everything and everyone is against you, that is when you must look for that tiny pinprick of light that still shines for you. Look toward and reach out to those people who love you just the way you are. Look no further to find reassurance that you matter. In every respect—you matter and are integral in this world. And LOVE—you are love. Find that light. Darkness cannot last forever. You will show them what courage is.”
Lisa Thomson Wells
When you’re faced with a fork in the road and you know which way you must go. But it isn’t the easy way, find your courage. Always find your courage to remain unique, to remain true, to remain YOU.

It’s in one of my sketchbooks but it does translate well into photograph. Hope you are well. I will pop over and see what you’ve been up to!
