I was recently told “You are very much a daughter of destiny.”

It’s an interesting statement. It begs the question; Are our experiences and life-events destined or are they a result of our own decisions?

It’s the beginning of  a new month and not just any month. It’s one of the best of twelve—May. It’s officially spring weather. The storms are over. 

If you’ve been around here for a while you know how much I love music. I’ve written about it and its healing powers often. During my divorce, music was a big part of my life. I used it to relax, (Sarah MacLauchlan), to party (Dave Matthews Band), to paint (Chopin) and to reminisce (anything from the 80’s). So, music is a big deal to me—always has been, always will be.

It’s that time. Time for a summer break. I’ll be taking the month of August off from blogging. I’ll still be around the social media a bit and hope to visit some blogs while on break. If you don’t see me though, don’t worry as I’m likely at my favorite coffee house with manuscript and coffee in hand. I’ll be working on some other projects and hoping

What’s happening in your month of March, Escapees? My title says don’t tell, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want you to tell me everything. For almost four years I’ve been doing the talking…turning my thoughts inside out…attempting to be funny…providing useless valuable tips. I love it.
