Okay, so this wasn’t so much a question as it was a comment. Sometimes people simply want to share their story but without seeking advice. However, Penniless makes for a great case study, if you will, on divorce and what can go wrong and how to fix it.
Guys, as you know, I give advice here at the site and sometimes I even publish the Q & A as ‘Dear Lisa’. Is my advice always good? I hope so! However, I get all kinds of people writing me with questions and dare I say PROBLEMS.
So, this woman contacted me a month or so ago. I read through her long email. I gave it considerable thought before responding, of course.
Here’s the thing: Her question haunts me.
Actually, it’s a viewer question. This is one of several contacts I receive after someone watches my youtube video on parental alienation. The comments keep coming over there and some of them quite negative. I’ve had to delete a few and guess which
It’s time again for “Dear Lisa, Reader Question…” I received a good one a few months ago and have been meaning to share it with you. Why? It’s valuable to share and discuss common questions readers have about their divorce but sometimes I get questions about a failing marriage. I usually respond in a gentle way. Here on the blog we can explore this scenario further. I can be a little more harsh…tell it like it is as they say.
Sometimes I’ll get a question and my answer makes me feel a little like Ann Landers. I know I flatter myself when I say that but read this q & a and you’ll know what I mean.
Question:
How would I find out if my boyfriend and his soon to be ex wife followed through with their Court date or if they cancelled the whole process of the divorce? My boyfriend tells me the court got pushed back but no specific date given yet; I have reasons to believe they may have
I get some pretty interesting questions coming in from readers and site visitors. I thought why not share them on the blog once a month? Everyone can benefit from a little extra information and I’m sure you will relate to selected questions. Please note, I do not give legal advice nor do I disclose the person’s real name. So, welcome to Dear Lisa-Reader Question of the Month;
